Jewelry Appraisals
Learn about Jewelry Appraisals
A professional jewelry appraisal documents the replacement value of your pieces for insurance purposes, giving you the protection you need if something is ever lost, stolen, or damaged. At Hogan’s, appraisals are conducted by owner Eryn Collins, a GIA Graduate Gemologist, which means the documentation your insurance provider receives carries real gemological authority.
We appraise engagement rings, fine jewelry, diamonds, colored gemstones, and estate pieces. We recommend updating your appraisals every three to five years, as metal and stone values fluctuate over time and an outdated appraisal can leave you underinsured.
